She was speaking at a programme organised by a Zilla Panchayat committee on the occasion of DK Ravi’s birth anniversary.

“We can at least heave a sigh of relief if the truth of our son’s death comes out when we are alive. But the state government is hesitant to release the report on our son’s death. We are at loss as we are not getting answers from anyone,” she said.

I need work

She requested the government to give her an employment. “I am even ready to sweep the government offices and lead my life,” she said.

Further, adding that their daughter-in-law did not care a damn about them she said, “She is living in some foreign country and doesn’t need the compensation of the government or a job. She has not even contacted us once after our son’s first death anniversary.”

“She doesn’t even reply to our phone calls,” she added.
