- HS Revanna has been posted to the place vacated by DIG Roopa, following her transfer

The government of Karnataka has appointed H S Revanna, IPS, until further orders as Deputy Inspector General of Police, Prisons, Bengaluru in the existing vacancy.
The order stated that H S Revanna, Deputy Inspector General of Police, Headquarters, Bengaluru is transferred with immediate effect and posted and DIG Prisons in Bengaluru. Deputy Inspector General of Police is also placed in additional charge of the post of Chief Superintendent, Bengalara Central Jail, Bengaluru with immediate effect and until further orders. DIG D Roopa was transferred following her two reports revealing the irregularities in the Parappana Agrahara including the Sasikala bribe game.
Her report also includes other irregularities including drug sale and purchase, TVs inside the jail, CCTV cameras not working and special treatment to Sasikala.
However, DIG Roopa has been transferred as Deputy Inspector of Police and Commissioner of Traffic and Road Safety, Bengaluru.
