Five things found in Parappana Agrahara jail that will shock you [Video]

Parappana Agrahara is in the news again with AIADMK Chief VK Sasikala being accused of paying a bribe of Rs 2 crore to the jail authorities to avail her special benefits, alleges a report by DIG Roopa, who had inspected the jail.

Here are five things found inside the Parappana Agarahara Jail (some of them captured by Suvarna channel) while being bought outside the wall of the jail and being taken inside and given to the prisoners.

1. Ganja, Hukka

The footages from Suvarna News channel show how prisoners give money and buy ganja and hukka from outsiders. One constable was even seen asking Rs 10,000 bribe to get the ganja inside.

2. Cigarette

Cigarettes and matchsticks are also seen smuggled inside the jail with ease. It looks like prisoners pay money and get what they want inside the jail.

3. TV

It is said that there are 239 TVs inside Parappana Agrahara jail. Suvarna sources say that every cell has a TV. But as per the rules, no common prisoners can have or watch TV.

4. Body massage

On July 14, many videos streamed that stamper scam kingpin Abdul Karim Telgi has the privilege of body massage and four prisoners have been allotted for this 'work'.

5. Special visiting, kitchen room?

There are allegedly no CCTV cameras in the Sasikala's barrack. It is said that she has a special visitors room with one table and five chairs. Recently DIG Roopa's report that Sasikala had paid Rs 2 crore to have a special kitchen room inside the jail had created tension in the state administration.

As the continued part, DGP Sathyanarayan who refuted the charges that there were irregularities in Parappana Agrahara had visited the jail in the morning. But DIG Roopa to paid a visit to the prison in the evening.

But sources said that the prisoner who gave the video footage of the inside of Parappana Agrahara was being beaten up by the jail authorities. Currently, there are fights and arguments inside the jail by the inmates for and against DIG Roopa and her action.
