This is great news for everyone tired of the heat, and because of these rains, the state has withdrawn its heatwave warnings.
For tomorrow, a yellow alert has been issued for Kannur and Kasaragod districts.
Yesterday, several districts saw heavy evening showers. But this welcome rain also brought with it some tragedy. The strong winds and lightning caused accidents and damage in many places. Two deaths have been reported, turning the happy news of rain into a sad one for some.
