Arvind Kejriwal had predicted Channi's defeat
Going back to a few weeks, in an interview, AAP leader and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal had said, "Channi will lose both the seats he is contesting. We are ready to give in writing". In his prediction, Kejriwal had said that AAP's chief ministerial candidate Bhagwant Mann would win from Dhuri by a margin of at least 51,000 votes.
This prediction has come true on Thursday. In Punjab Election 2022 results, Congress' Charanjit Singh Channi has lost both seats.

After sweeping the state of Punjab, the Aam Aadmi Party reshared its spoof video. Ealrier, the party released a parody film titled "Punjab's future CM is in the home". In the video, Charanjit Singh Channi and state Congress chief Navjot Singh Sidhu were also battling for the CM chair. However, the footage shows Mann warmly greeted by the "people of Punjab" and receiving the CM chair. Addressing the media, AAP leader and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said, “Everyone was united against AAP. The aim was to defeat the AAP. Captain Amarinder Singh sahab lost, Charanjit Singh Channi sahab lost, Badal sahab lost, Sidhu lost, Majithia lost. A wonder done by people of Punjab. This is Inquilab."

Navjot Singh Sidhu, SAD's Bikram Singh Majithia lose their seat
Punjab Congress chief Navjot Singh Sidhu loses from Amritsar East by a margin of 6,750 votes; while Shiromani Akali Dal's Bikram Singh Majithia loses from Amritsar East by a margin of 14,408 votes.

After sweeping the Punjab elections, AAP CM candidate Bhagwant Mann took a shot at the opposition leaders, saying, "The Bade Badal has lost, Sukhbir Badal has lost from Jalalabad, Captain Amarinder Singh Sahab has also been defeated. The Congress party has conceded its defeat in the Punjab assembly elections. Taking to Twitter, State party president Navjot Singh Sidhu said, "The voice of the people is the voice of God... Humbly accept the mandate of the people of Punjab ... Congratulations to AAP."

Capt Amarinder Singh loses in Patiala
Former Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh has lost election from his Patiala Urban seat by 13,000 votes. The two-time Chief Minister was defeated by Ajit Pal Singh Kohli of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP).
Amarinder Singh formed his own party, the Punjab Lok Congress, following a schism with the Congress following his dismissal as Chief Minister in September.
