President Murmu will be in the states for three days. She will inaugurate the Tripura State Judicial Academy and lay the groundwork for the Tripura National Law University on Wednesday in Agartala's Narsingarh.

President Droupadi Murmu will visit Tripura and Assam on Wednesday to attend several events, according to a statement issued by the Rashtrapati Bhavan on Tuesday.

President Murmu will be in the states for three days. On Wednesday, she will inaugurate the Tripura State Judicial Academy and lay the groundwork for the Tripura National Law University at Narsingarh in Agartala.

On the same day, she will virtually inaugurate an MLA Hostel at Agartala's Capital Complex and lay the groundwork for various Tripura government projects involving roads, schools, and student hostels.

She will also inaugurate the Rabindra Sata Barshiki Bhawan and the Maharaja Birendra Kishore Manikya Museum and Cultural Centre in Agartala.

Later, she will attend a civic reception hosted by the Tripura government at the Town Hall in Agartala.

According to the statement, President Murmu will flag off a special extension of the Guwahati-Kolkata-Guwahati train up to Agartala on Thursday and an extension of the Agartala-Jiribam-Agartala Jan Shatabdi Express up to Khongsang in Manipur at the Agartala railway station.

The President will virtually inaugurate and lay the foundation stones for various projects of the union ministries of electronics and information technology, health and family welfare, and the government of Assam on Thursday at IIT Guwahati.

These projects include a supercomputer facility in Param Kamrupa and an IIT Guwahati facility for designing and developing high-power microwave components, a medical college and hospital in Dhubri, and National Institute of Virology zonal institutes in Dibrugarh, Assam, and Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh.

The President will then attend a civic reception and a cultural programme at the Assam Administrative Staff College in Guwahati later that day.

President Murmu will virtually inaugurate and lay the groundwork for various projects of the Assam government and the union ministries of road transport and highways, petroleum and natural gas, and railways on the final day.

These include the launch of model Anganwadi Centres with modern facilities, Mission Saubhagya, the inauguration of the Indian Oil Corporation Ltd's rail-fed petroleum storage depot at Moinarband, Silchar, and two highway projects.

President Murmu will also lay the groundwork for 100 model secondary schools in Assam's tea garden areas, two highway projects, a modern cargo-cum-coaching terminal at Aghtori in Guwahati, and flag off a train from Guwahati to Lumding and up to Shokhuvi in Nagaland and Mandipathar in Meghalaya.
