Pantheerankavu domestic violence: Interpol has issued a Blue Corner notice against Rahul P Gopal who is accused of brutally assaulting and attempting to kill his newly-wed wife in Pantheerankavu of Kozhikode district. The investigating team confirmed that the accused has fled to Germany.

It is reportedly said that the collision caused damage to one of the aircraft's wings and a tyre. The incident occurred as the Air India AI-858 flight, carrying around 180 passengers, was preparing for departure from Pune at 4 PM. Despite the collision, all passengers and crew on board were reported safe.

The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a stern warning of potential floods in South India, particularly Karnataka, Kerala, and Tamil Nadu, due to heavy rainfall from May 17th to May 22nd. Residents are advised to exercise extreme caution as intense showers, thunderstorms, and lightning pose a significant threat of disaster.

Police arrested 21-year-old Vishwanath alias Girisha Sawant in Davangere, Karnataka, following his alleged murder of 20-year-old Anjali Ambigera in Hubballi. Sawant, who fled after stabbing Anjali, was traced using CCTV footage. After attempting to escape capture on a train and suffering injuries, he was apprehended and is now hospitalized under police custody in Hubli.
