The incident occurred on Tuesday (October 24) when Rawat's car collided with a divider. After the collision, Rawat reported feeling mild tremors and was immediately checked by doctors to ensure his well-being.

In a reassuring post on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), Rawat stated, "The doctors said everything was fine and discharged me…Some friends have posted about the incident on social media which may raise concerns among a few. There is nothing to be worried about. I am absolutely fine, and so are my colleagues." He made these comments in Hindi to alleviate concerns among his supporters.
