Following the BJP's resounding win, Bhajan Lal Sharma, a first-time MLA, emerged as the chief minister-designate during a BJP legislature party meeting. The appointment took place in the presence of central observers Rajnath Singh, Saroj Pandey, and Vinod Tawde.
