India reports 14,348 fresh COVID-19 cases, 11 per cent lower than yesterday
To date, India has done around 60.58 crore COVID-19 tests. Meanwhile, the Nationwide Vaccination Drive has resulted in the administration of around 104.82 crore vaccine doses.

The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare recorded 14,348 new COVID-19 cases in India in the previous 24 hours on Friday. India's active caseload now stands at 1,61,334. Active cases account for less than 1% of all cases, which is now at 0.47 per cent, the lowest level since March 2020. In addition, the country recorded 13,198 additional recoveries in the past 24 hours, bringing the recovery rate to 98.19%. To date, India has done around 60.58 crore COVID-19 tests. Meanwhile, the Nationwide Vaccination Drive has resulted in the administration of around 104.82 crore vaccine doses.
According to Kerala's official media bulletin, 56 people have died in the previous 24 hours, and 652 backlog cases have been added to the count. The administration has been accelerating the immunisation campaign across the country. In the last 24 hours, 74,33,392 vaccine doses were provided, 25,24,138 more than the previous day.

Active cases account for less than 1% of all cases, which is now at 0.47 per cent, the lowest level since March 2020. The number of current cases is 1,61,334. For the previous 35 days, the weekly positive rate of 1.18 per cent is less than 2%. For the last 25 days, the daily positivity rate of 1.12% is less than 2%.
In other news, the Delhi government's sixth serological survey, conducted in September, found that 97 per cent of those tested have antibodies against the COVID-19 virus, according to Health Minister Satyendar Jain on Thursday. During a press conference, he said that women had a higher seropositivity rate than men. Those under the age of 18 had an 88% seropositivity rate, while those above 18 had a 97 to 98 per cent seropositivity rate. He went on to state that the seroprevalence percentage in all districts was more than 95%.
