Robert Lewandowski is a Polish striker, who plays for Bayern Munich, in the Bundesliga. It was the fifth edition of The Best FIFA Football Awards, having begun since 2016. Portugal's Cristiano Ronaldo is the record holder, having won twin titles to date.

In what could be considered as a significant breakthrough in football, Polish sensation, Robert Lewandowski has edged past modern-day GOATs, Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi, to clinch the title for The Best FIFA Football Awards of 2020. The awards also saw other top players claiming the title in respective categories, as we take a look.
<p><strong>The Best FIFA Men's Player: </strong>As mentioned above, the category was won by Lewandowski (52 points). The Polish sensation had a great year playing for Bayern Munch, having won the UEFA Champions League (UCL) as well. He became the second player to win a European treble and was the highest goal-scorer in all competitions. Meanwhile, Ronaldo (38) and Messi (35) followed him in the second and third spot, respectively.</p>
