Kerala Police took Malayalam reality show contestant Rajith Kumar into custody for flouting the Kerala government's coronavirus advisory.

A large number of people arrived at Cochin International Airport on Sunday night to receive Rajith.

This comes at a time when the Kerala government had asked citizens to not assemble as a precaution against the spread of deadly virus, coronavirus.

Rajith Kumar will be handed over to Nedumbassery Police, who is investigating the case.

Nedumbassery police have also arrested 11 more persons who took part in the unlawful gathering on Sunday night.
