Days ago, Shilpa Shetty surprised fans and friends when she announced her second child. She and her husband, businessman Raj Kundra, welcomed their baby girl via surrogacy.

Aamir Khan and his wife Kiran Rao also welcomed their baby Azad through IVF surrogacy. The duo welcomed Azad in December 2011.

Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan also opted for surrogacy to welcome their third child AbRam Khan in May 2012.

Bollywood director Karan Johar also opted to become a parent through surrogacy. He welcomed his twins in February 2017.
