Saiyaara Box office collection Day 8: Ahaan Panday starrer becomes second highest grossing movie beating Raid 2, Housefull 5

According to the report of trade tracker website sacnilk.com, on the 8th day i.e. second Friday, 'Saiyaara' collected around Rs 18 crore. There has been a slight decline in the collection of the film as compared to the earnings of the 7th day (Thursday). On Thursday, this film had collected Rs 19 crore.

Lifetime collection of 'Raid 2' and 'Housefull 5'

Ajay Devgan starrer 'Raid 2' had a lifetime collection of Rs 173.44 crore. This film was directed by Rajkumar Gupta. Talking about Akshay Kumar starrer 'Housefull 5', it was directed by Tarun Mansukhani. The film's earnings are said to be around Rs 183.38 crore.

'Saiyaara' has proved to be not only Bollywood's but also India's second highest grossing film in 2025. It has pushed Venkatesh starrer Telugu film Sankranthiki Vasthunam to the third position, which had a lifetime net collection of Rs 186.97 crore in India. 'Sankrantiki Vasthunam' was directed by Anil Ravipudi.

The country's highest grossing film in 2025 is Vicky Kaushal, Rashmika Mandanna and Akshay Khanna starrer 'Chaava'. The lifetime collection of this film was Rs 601.57 crore. 'Saiyaara' has not even touched the figure of 200 crores yet and its pace has also slowed down at the box office. Apart from this, Ajay Devgan's 'Son of Sardar 2' and Vijay Deverakonda starrer Telugu film 'Kingdom' are also releasing next week. Looking at these circumstances, it is being estimated that it will be difficult for 'Saiyaara' to match or beat 'Chaava'.
