Rahul Banerjee Death News: No Doctor at Clinic, Says Production House

Moments Motion Pictures released an official statement following the death of Bengali actor Rahul Arunoday Banerjee. The statement said that individuals present at the scene sought to save the actor, whose death has sparked worries about actor safety on sets.

Rahul Arunoday Banerjee, a Bengali actor, died on Sunday, March 29, in a boating accident at Talsari beach. Moments Motion Pictures' statement allegedly stated that people present at the scene sought to resuscitate the actor, whose death has sparked worries about actor safety on set.

During the shoot of the Bengali television show Bhole Baba Paar Karega, Rahul Banerjee drowned. Moments Motion Pictures stated that he was alive and attempted to communicate, though he may not have been able to do so clearly. He was then transported to a local clinic. Unfortunately, no doctors were accessible at the time. As a result, he had to be transferred back to Digha Hospital, where he was eventually certified dead (sic)," the statement continued.

The production firm asked a few days to collect the cast and crew accounts in a "neutral and structured manner."

"We want an additional few days to gather their (cast and crew) accounts in an unbiased and orderly manner. "We intend to carefully assess where their statements align and where there may be deviations so that we can present a comprehensive and accurate report," the statement said.

The production business certifies full legal compliance and invites a representative from Rahul's family, friends, or the Artists' Forum. "This individual can observe our process and help ensure that our data collection and interpretations are fair and unbiased," the statement continued. The firm executives stated that they were ready to address any queries that the actor's family, including his wife, Priyanka Sarkar, who is also an actress, may have.

The production firm maintained that it had secured the essential legal approvals prior to filming and was ready to submit them to the investigation team.

Leena Gangopadhyay, the company's creative head and chairperson of the West Bengal Women's Commission, has expressed her willingness to step down for an impartial investigation into the death of the 43-year-old actor. She joined the board in 2011. However, she is neither a promoter nor an operational executive. "Her role has always been limited to creative responsibilities," the statement continued.

The chairman of the West Bengal Women's Commission, Leena, is preparing to resign down. Keeping this in mind, Leena is prepared to stand aside as chairwoman so that there is no sense of prejudice in Rahul's probe and she does not abandon her obligations in the case," the statement said.

Rahul married Priyanka Sarkar, his co-star from Chirodini Tumi Je Amar. They married and had a son named Shohoj. They split in 2017, but reunited in 2023.

On March 30, Priyanka requested quiet and respect for her family's sadness at this difficult time.
