Photos: Rhea Chakraborty looks stunning in traditional Bengali sari; actress wishes 'Shubho Bijoya'

After five days of festivity, it's time to say goodbye to Ma Durga. Bijoya Dashami, known as Dussehra, is an important Bengali festival celebrating Goddess Durga's triumph over the demon king Mahishasura.

On the auspicious day, actress Rhea Chakraborty channelled her inner Bengali and wore a traditional Bengali outfit.

Taking to Instagram, the actress shared a series of images in a traditional Bengali laal paar shada sari passed down from her grandmother. She wore her hair in a bun and paired it with a crimson bindi and huge gold earrings.

She wrote captions for the images, “Shubho Bijoya Dashami ✨ This is my Dida’s (grandmother) saree. 100 years old. Something so special about wearing my ancestry ”
