Here’s what Karisma Kapoor got as alimony after divorcing Sanjay Kapur

Bollywood actress Karisma Kapoor and her husband Sanjay Kapur parted ways officially two years ago. They were married for 11 years and have two kids, Samaira and Kiaan. Now the kids are staying with their mother Karisma in Mumbai.
 

Sanjay and Karisma married in 2003, and later, after years, Karisma had filed for divorce in 2014. The separation happened as per mutual consent, according to reports, after things were getting dirty.
 

Karisma alleged that Sanjay was not complying with financial commitments. To that, Sanjay also claimed that Karisma married him only for money.

In her divorce plea, Karisma alleged that Sanjay used to abuse her physically, even asked his mother to slap her once.

In one of her complaints, Karisma had written, "Even before our wedding his father made my mother cry and I immediately said that if his family could behave in this manner with a woman, the family could do anything in the future and I made up my mind to call off the wedding. Sadly, better sense did not prevail and I was again fraudulently convinced by Sanjay and his family that the incident was one-off."

Now let us talk about her alimony. As per various reports, Karisma did not get anything for herself. Mid-Day quoted the lawyer involved in this case as saying, "Karisma will get Sanjay's father's house (in Khar) transferred in her name. Sanjay has to purchase bonds worth Rs 14 crore for the children, which will attract a monthly interest of around Rs 10 lakh."

Also, another report published in Spotboye.com said that Karisma would get the jewellery that was given to her by Sanjay and his family at the time of their marriage.
 

After their divorce, Sanjay married Priya Sachdev in an intimate ceremony in April 2017. On the other hand, reports claimed that Karisma is believed to be dating businessman Sandeep Toshniwal, who is awaiting divorce from his first wife.
