The record for the same lies with Ian Botham (11) and Shakib Al Hasan (9).<br /> - He is also the second most to score a ton and claim a fifer in the same Test, having done so on three occasions, while the record for the same is with Botham (5).<br /> - He is only the second player from Tamil Nadu to do so, after Kris Srikkanth (123 vs Pakistan in 1986-87).<br /> - He is also the first Indian to do the same at home ground.<br /> - It is also his first Test century against a different side, other than Windies.</p>
