Central government employees are now counting down the days until the 8th Pay Commission. The central government has already given its approval for the 8th Pay Commission.
The 8th Pay Commission will be implemented next year, i.e., in 2026. Approximately 50 lakh central employees and 65 lakh pensioners will benefit.
All employees are waiting for the announcement of the commission's chairman and members. The commission will determine the fitment factor for increasing the salaries of employees.
If the government accepts the 2.86 fitting factor, there will be a huge increase. The minimum salary of employees will increase from Rs 18,000 to Rs 51,480 per month.
The minimum pension amount may increase from Rs 9,000 to Rs 25,740.
