#5 CM Punk's Action

CM Punk participated in the war games match in the WWE Survivor Series pay-per-view. During his entrance, the cult of personality reached out to Brunson Reed and slapped him. This incident set the tone for a gruesome, aggressive match. CM Punk's move to slap Brunson was unscripted and spontaneous.

#4 Carlito going racist

In a backstage moment of RAW's October episode, Carlito made headlines due to a controversy. He used Chinese while talking about Iyo Sky. Adam Pearce who was in the segment was shocked at Carlito’s unscripted words that may have looked as racist. Social media users raised the point of racism and the WWE eventually edited Carlito's lines.

#3 Cody Rhodes at the Rumble

WWE in early 2024 had plans to book the then-world champion Roman Reigns against the Rock at Wrestlemania. The rumors were also strong about the bout. Whilst, Cody Rhodes happened to win the Royal Rumble. And right after that he started pointing out at Roman Reigns and the Wrestlemania sign. This wasn't supposed to happen. Fans were confused over Rhodes' action. But eventually, Reigns and Rhodes fought at Wrestlemania.

#2 Rock beating down

The Rock went off the script in a segment with Cody Rhodes. He was supposed to beat the Royal Rumble 2024 winner in the parking lot. While delivering the beatdown, the Rock used cuss words and brought brutality to the beatdown in order to sell the segment more in the eyes of the WWE fans.

In a confusing segment between the Rock and Roman Reigns, tensions ran high. The duo was supposed to present a unifying force in the run up to Wrestlemania as Cody Rhodes was a common enemy. However, Roman Reigns in a RAW episode interrupted the final boss teasing fans about a possible feud. The interruption from Reigns took even the Rock by surprise.
