Recently, the couple made their first joint appearance since their engagement, attending the ANR National Awards 2024 on Monday evening. The Akkineni family was photographed alongside legendary actors Amitabh Bachchan and Chiranjeevi, both of whom attended the prestigious event. The couple got engaged in August in a family gathering. Nagarjuna made the announcement on social media, sharing his excitement as he welcomed Sobhita into the family. He expressed heartfelt wishes for their future, adding that the engagement ceremony took place in the morning.

Preparations for their wedding are reportedly underway, with the ceremony expected in December. Recently, Sobhita shared images from her Pasupu Danchadam ritual, a traditional ceremony that signals the beginning of the wedding festivities.
