At the San Diego Comic-Con event, Prabhas and Deepika Padukone will launch their upcoming movie Project K, a sci-fi fantasy thriller. Kamal Haasan and Nag Ashwin will also be present at the launch event in SDCC.

Project K, the sci-fi fantasy thriller, has dominated headlines since its announcement. The film, directed by Nag Ashwin and starring Telugu actor Prabhas and Deepika Padukone, has sparked interest among filmgoers with its eye-catching posters and sneak peeks. Project K will be produced by Vyjanthi Movies and will include Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, and Disha Patani in major roles. Now, at the San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC), the highly anticipated Indian big-budget sci-fi picture will reveal exclusive footage in the presence of stars.

Vyjayanthi Movies will give fans a sneak peek at the film as part of the SDCC opening night party on 19 July.

Taking to his Instagram, film trade analyst Taran Adarsh informed, "BIGGG NEWS… AMITABH - PRABHAS - DEEPIKA - KAMAL HAASAN: ‘PROJECT K’ TITLE, TRAILER, RELEASE DATE TO BE UNVEILED AT COMIC CON, USA… Mark the date: 20 July 2023. #ProjectK is set to create history, will be the first #Indian film to debut at #SanDiegoComicCon [#SDCC] 2023 in #USA."

"#KamalHaasan, #Prabhas, #DeepikaPadukone and #NationalAward winning director #NagAshwin will fly to #USA to unveil the film's title, trailer and release date."

On July 20, the film's team will host a panel titled "This is Project K: First Glimpse of India's Mytho-Sci-fi Epic" with Deepika, Prabhas and Haasan, during which the film's full title, teaser trailer and release date will be revealed, Variety said in their latest report.

Surprisingly, the celebs will also appear in a performance on SDCC's main stage. "This exclusive event will transport guests into India's most ambitious cinematic universe yet with their captivating storytelling, futuristic setting, and 'Spice Punk' aesthetic inspired by the film," stated the producers in a statement.  Director Ashwin was also ecstatic. "We are happy to present 'Project K"s debut at San Diego Comic-Con," he stated. India's storytelling heritage is centuries old, with its epics as the foundation for numerous civilizations worldwide. A world this large requires an equally large platform to expose it to the public. "Comic-Con seemed like the ideal place to find the honesty and enthusiasm required for 'Project K.'"
