Katrina Kaif, Vicky Kaushal's wedding Day 1 highlights: Fireworks, Sangeet and cocktails at wedding venue

It is being reported that Katrina Kaif wanted Salman's parents to attend the wedding and show their blessings, but due to health issues, they won't be able to come to the wedding of Katrina and Vicky. It is also being reported that Salman's sisters Arpita and Alvira shall be attending the wedding with their respective husbands. Apparently, Katrina is very close to Arpita and Alvira.

As per reports, the couple will be having a traditional Hindu wedding before a Christian one. A mandap made up of glass has been made and decorated for the couple to take the pheras. Reports also suggest that there shall be a mehendi ceremony where around 400 girls will be applying mehendi to the stunning bride, bridesmaids and guests. 

Many fireworks were seen at the Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif's sangeet ceremony help at the Six Senses Fort Barwara. The couple reportedly performed on their hit Bollywood songs. According to reports, over 50 guests have reached the lavish resort, and all decked up for the star-studded guests from Mumbai and London.

It is reported that some of the guests from London might go to the famous Ranthambore tiger reserve in Rajasthan. Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal will be getting married at the Six Senses Fort Barwara in Sawai Madhopur district. The pre-wedding festivities have start and the couple will reportedly groove to the song Kala Chashma at their sangeet ceremony tonight.

There have been multiple reports regarding the marriage of Vicky Kaushla with Katrina Kaif. Even though the media has been kept away from the wedding, reports  regarding their wedding continue to do rounds on social media. And now, we are learning that the couple has reacted to the numerous speculations that have been made regarding their shaadi – from the use of security codes to the NDA clause.

The rumours about their relationship started doing much later, but even before that, Katrina Kaif had come out in full support of her soon-to-be-hubby. In an old video posted by Vicky Kaushal himself, Katrina Kaif was seen standing next to him, all smiling and extending her support ahead of his film’  Uri – The Surgical Strike’ release while filmmaker Rohit Shetty and Ranveer Singh grabbed him from both sides.

The Sangeet ceremony will start in just a few hours at the grand Six Senses Resort in Sawai Madhopur, Rajasthan. It is said that a lot of acts from the bride, groom, families and friends also some Bollywood performers are lined up for the night. 

Latest reports suggest a lot of VVIP guests from Mumbai like Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, Akshay Kumar, Shah Rukh Khan, Karan Johar, Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli are expected to land in Jaipur tonight to attend the grand Bollywood wedding. Vicky Kaushal's mother, Veena planned a special surprise Ladies Sangeet for Katrina and her family.

Katrina Kaif was last seen in Rohit Shetty directorial Sooryavanshi opposite Akshay Kumar. The film’s director was certainly expected to be attending the big fat Bollywood wedding, but contrary to the belief, Rohit Shetty will be giving it (the wedding) a kip. This is because of his upcoming film ‘Cirkus’. Rohit Shetty has headed to Ooty where he will be shooting the film with his team, and therefore, would have to miss out on the year’s biggest Bollywood wedding.

According to a news agency, the mehendi ceremony will be big and both the families will celebrate it. “Vicky has a big, loving and warm Punjabi family on his side and his chacha, chachi, mama and mami are all looking forward to formally welcoming Katrina into the Kaushal family,” a source told. The Mehendi preparations have been in full swing; it will be a joyous occasion for both sides with both their friends and family getting together,

Looks like none of Ranbir Kapoor’s songs from any of his films will be played at Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif’s wedding. As per reports, any song which has been picturised on Katrina Kaif’s ex has reportedly been barred from the wedding. If that is true, it is no surprise, even though some of Ranbir Kapoor’s songs have made it the best wedding song, especially, ‘Dilli wali girlfriend’ from Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani.

Soon to be Mr & Mrs Kaushal have already decided on a honeymoon destination. Katrina and Vicky might head to Maldives after their wedding festivities, according to the latest reports. The couple will leave for a short vacation after their wedding reception in Mumbai at Taj Lands End for Bollywood friends.

The note is sent by the team Shaadi Squad, organising Vicky-Katrina’s wedding that is all set to take place on December 9 at the Six Senses Fort Barwara. Shaadi Squad has also pulled off Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan and Natasha Dalal’s wedding earlier this year at The Mansion House, a beach resort in Alibaug.

The couple (Katrina and Vicky) set up their new apartment in Juhu. Katrina has been staying in Bandra with her sister, and Vicky lives with his family in Andheri. After the wedding, they have decided to shift to a rented posh apartment in Juhu. Cricketer Virat Kohli and his wife Anushka Sharma live in the same building. Katrina and Vicky will stay on the eighth floor, and they have rented the apartment for the next five years. It is more than 5000 sq ft, and the rent is reportedly around Rs 8 lakh per month as rent and Rs 1.75 crore as a deposit. 

Ahead of the grand wedding of Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal, URI actors' ex-Harleen Sethi shared a cryptic post that reads, "Continually looking for the meaning of life is like looking for the meaning of toast. It is sometimes better just to eat the toast." Vicky and Harleen were in a relationship for a long time and called it quits in 2019, soon after releasing his film 'Uri: The Surgical Strike'.

Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal's guests will be served various exotic vegetables and fruits ordered from countries like Thailand, Philippines, and Taiwan. Some are like Asparagus Rs 2500/kg and 30 kgs have been sent, Avacadoes Rs 1500/kg around 100 kgs are also sent to the wedding venue. Other food items like red bananas, spinach, cabbage, and mushrooms have been shipped from Karnataka. 

A district administration team of Sawai Madhopur may conduct Covid-19 tests on the 120 guests attending the wedding of actors Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif. For this, a special team has been sent from Jaipur to Sawai Madhopur where the wedding is taking place. This is being done so that there is no violation of Covid-19 guidelines laid by the state government.
