IPL 2023: Virat Kohli, Anushka pose for goofy picture with Faf du Plessis; couple comes up with 'band name'

In the 2023 Indian Premier League (IPL) so far, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) has had an average season. While it takes on former two-time champion Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on Wednesday, ahead of the same, vice-captain-cum-opener Virat Kohli and his Bollywood wife, Anushka Sharma, posed for a goofy image with team skipper Faf du Plessis on the South African's Instagram story.

However, interestingly, while du Plessis captioned the picture as "Team Green", Kohli reshared the story on his Insta handle and asked Anushka, "Haha, what are we called?" The Bollywood star replied and named the team "Band name - Fresh lime soda", while the South African reacted by noting, "I like it."

Virushka has been ruling Bengaluru of late. A couple of days back, in association with Puma, for who Anushka is the brand ambassador, she and Kohli made a surprise visit to a corporate office, where they interacted with the company members and spread awareness regarding health and fitness, besides going on to play a friendly mixed-doubles contest of badminton with the resident of the building.

Last weekend, Virushka was also seen visiting a local Bengaluru eatery, the Shri Sagar Central Tiffin Room (CTR), where they were with their friends and were seen trying out some local South-Indian delicacies.
