Annapoorani teaser out: Nayanthara portrays progressive woman in 75th film - Watch

South actress Nayanthara has been in the news after the massive success of 'Jawan' in which she starred as female lead. Now the 75th film of her career has been announced. The makers of the film on the special occasion of Dussehra also called Vijayadashami revealed its title and teaser. The movie is a comedy-drama named "Annapoorani." 

Nayanthara made her Bollywood debut in the film 'Jawan' and is currently quite occupied with her roles in the film industry as well as her ventures as an entrepreneur. On October 24, the teaser for 'Annapoorani' was released by its creators. 

The teaser commences with picturesque shots of Sri Rangam in Trichy, featuring a quaint house near the temple known as Agraharam.
The teaser introduces us to Nayanthara, engrossed in a book, which initially appears to be about management. However, there's a surprising twist – she's actually hiding a recipe book for meat dishes! Her character, stemming from a Brahmin upbringing, has been brought up in a traditional vegetarian manner. This enigmatic revelation immediately piques the interest of the audience. 

'Annapoorani' holds a special place in Nayanthara's career, as it marks her 75th film. Nilesh Krishna is the director, and the film boasts a stellar ensemble cast including Jai, Sathyaraj, KS Ravikumar, Redin Kingsly, Kumari Sachu, Karthik Kumar, and Suresh Chakravarthy. The film's technical crew comprises composer Thamn, cinematographer Sathyan Sooryan, and editor Praveen Antony.
