New Zealand and England are going to take on each other in a crunching tie on Thursday at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, India. This will be the first fixture of the prestigious ICC World Cup 2023 tournament.

However, Ben Stokes being Ben Stokes could play through the pain as he did in previous times for his team. But Jos Buttler is unlikely to risk him in the first match itself. Harry Harry Brook is likely to get a chance instead.
