Here's how Yuzvendra Chahal's wife Dhanashree celebrated Diwali without the Indian spinner (See pictures)

Indian leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal did a commendable job in the 2021 Indian Premier League (IPL). Playing for Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), he scalped 18 wickets in 15 innings at a 7.05 rate of the economy. At the same time, he finished as the side’s second-most wicket-taker for the season after pacer Harshal Patel.

However, he failed to make it to the Indian team of the continuing ICC T20 World Cup 2021 in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), where India has had an unsteady performance so far. In the meantime, it seems like he would be in strong contention to make it to the squad for the upcoming three-match T20I series against New Zealand, starting November 17.

Currently, Chahal is busy grooming himself further, as he is taking part in the ongoing Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy T20 tournament, representing his home team of Haryana. Consequently, he has missed out on celebrating Diwali this time around with his family, especially his dancer wife Dhanashree Verma, in what would have been their first Diwali together since getting hitched.

As a result, Dhanashree celebrated it all alone. She took to her Instagram handle to share some pictures of the same. She is seen posing in a traditional sky blue Indian attire in front of her decorated Gurugram house. In contrast, in the other picture, she is seen seated, holding a plate of diyas by a rangoli.

She also posed by sitting along with her parents in law. She captioned the post by writing, “Let there be love, joy, peace and feeling of togetherness always 🦋 It’s my favourite time of the year 💥 Happy Diwali 🌹”. ALso, she wished everyone on the festival by sharing a special video of her dress-up. “Happy Diwali 🦋 Appreciate all the little & simple moments of life. Only love & happiness. Always,” she captioned.

Earlier, Chahal shared a throwback picture of him and Dhanashree, along with his father, and wished everyone on the auspicious occasion by captioning the post, “Wishing you all a very Happy Diwali 🪔”
